Koh Mak Island… where less is more
A natural, tropical island, Koh Mak, Thailand's preserved “treasure”, is an ideal destination for visitors who enjoy a tranquil environment unspoiled by mass tourism. Amongst 10,000 palm trees, there’s a temple, three fishing community villages, rubber plantations, two uninhabited beaches, a primary school, a market, a health centre, three diving schools, few shops, two internet café’s, and thirteen small, unassuming resorts. Koh Mak is the perfect place to relax, explore, calm your mind and soothe your senses. Read more

"The people on the island are one big family"
The local people are friendly and are happy to welcome foreigners to their little piece of paradise. Join them for a beer by the pier. The island is small with no shopping malls, cinemas or discotheques. But many things can be found on the island, including freshly baked bread. And what is not available on the island can easily be arranged from the mainland.
